Abstract
Interactions of placer magnetite with true and colloid solutions of gold an d silver and with aqueous solutions of amino acids were studied. The influe nce of mechanochemical activation of magnetite and of its pretreatment with cysteine on the magnetite structure and its sorption properties with respe ct to ions and colloid particles of gold and silver was examined.
