Abstract
The literature data on the synthesis and properties of the chiral phosphoro us acid derivatives are systematized and discussed in this review. Two type s of complexes with P,P-bidentate Ligands are considered: the complexes con taining asymmetric carbon atoms and the ones having chirality axes. The nat ure of ligands is shown to influence the structure of their complexes with metals. The use of the complexes with the cited ligands in homogeneous symm etric catalysis is analyzed.
