Abstract
Lectotypes and epitypes are designated by 6 specialists for 29 out of 30 pr eviously untypified Linnaean plant names pertaining to the family Orchidace ae. These newly proposed types support the current usage of the names conce rned. Earlier but ineffective or supersedable type statements are discussed .
