Abstract
Regelia, through its type R. ciliata, is here typified by a specimen that e nables current usage of the name to be preserved. The name that has been co nsidered by some botanists to be the base name of R. ciliata, Melaleuca spr engelioides, represents a species of Beaufortia and is newly transferred to that genus.
