Abstract
Reduction of the trioxime derivative of dehydrocholic acid methyl ester wit h NaBH4-TiCl4 yielded triamine-derivatives of cholic acid. The major produc t from the reduction was the 3 alpha,7 alpha,12 alpha diastereomer. Stereoc hemistry of the reduction products was determined via NMR spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography.
