Abstract
Theoretical models introduced by pragmatics enable us to test the hypothesi
s that the processings of the implicit or anarticulated constituent of lang
uage is impaired in some schizophrenic subjects, and to look for a relation
between this dysfunction and abnormalities regarding other levels of cogni
tive functioning. Some french and english experimental data are shown.
