Abstract
The sensitivity to a cosmic stochastic background of gravitational waves of the resonant cryogenic antenna ALTAIR, operating at 1.8 kHz, is reported. An experimental upper limit of ALTAIR is compared with the upper limits giv en by the other detectors at lower frequencies.
