Stochastic mathematical models of information transmission bit rate in wide
band integral service digital networks are studied. A geometric probabilist
ic approach is applied to estimate the characteristics and integral propert
ies of the traffic. The concepts of integro-equivalent function and singula
r peal load time interval are introduced. The extremal properties and a rel
ationship between traffic parameters are determined.
