Abstract
We describe the application of distance geometry methods to the three-dimen sional visualization of sequence relationships, with examples for mumps vir us SH gene cDNA and prion protein sequences. Sequence-sequence distance mea sures may be obtained from either a multiple sequence alignment or from set s of pairwise alignments.
