Abstract
A 61-year-old woman with a massive aortic aneurysm extending from the aorti c root to the proximal descending thoracic aorta required urgent surgical i ntervention. She underwent successful replacement of her ascending aorta, t ransverse arch and descending aorta in a single operation.
