Vi. Popa et al., Influence of the thermopower station ash upon some processes of biosynthesis in wheat plants (Triticum aestivum L.), CELL CHEM T, 32(3-4), 1998, pp. 211-223
Triticum aestivum L. wheat plants have been cultivated in vegetation pots o
n media containing garden soil mixed with ash (0-100%) resulted from coal's
burning in thermopower stations. The data obtained evidenced that the plan
ts grown on such media are differentiated both in their ash content and ele
ments accumulated in the vegetal parts and in the biosynthesis of some enzy
matic systems belonging to oxido-reductases.
