Abstract
C120OS has been synthesised by thermal reaction of C120O and sulfur, isolat ed by HPLC, and characterised by MALDI-TOF-MS, LT-FAB-MS, XPS, Raman, UV-VI S, IR and C-13-NMR spectroscopy; all data are consistent with a molecule of C-s symmetry with the fullerene cages linked by furan- and thiophene-like bridging units.
