So. Utsey et Jg. Ponterotto, Further factorial validity assessment of scores on the Quick Discrimination Index (QDI), EDUC PSYC M, 59(2), 1999, pp. 325-335
This study examined the factorial validity of scores on the Quick Discrimin
ation Index (QDI) across three geographically dispersed samples. A multisam
ple LISREL analysis, incorporating Bagozzi and Heatherton's recommended agg
regate procedure, indicated that the QDI three-factor oblique model was rel
atively stable across three geographically divergent samples. Coefficient a
lphas across factors and samples were satisfactory. The Lix Readability Ind
ex for the QDI items fell at the ninth-grade level.
