Abstract
Dielectric frequency-temperature compensation has been achieved by placing low-loss rutile slices at the end faces of a cylindrical sapphire dielectri c resonator. The designability of such a structure has been tested by compa ring measurements of temperature characteristics with calculations from fin ite element software.
