Abstract
The effect of high-temperature ultrasonic treatment on the real structure o f iron(III) oxide is studied. The results are interpreted in terms of defec t generation and annealing. Kinetic studies of the reaction between iron(II I) oxide and MgO activated by ultrasound reveal a correlation between the r eactivity and real structure of the reagents.
