Abstract
We discuss experimental results on Stern-Gerlach interferometry with atoms. After a theoretical approach suited for fast atoms, we discuss elementary experiments on the preservation of atomic coherence. Then we examine the ac tion of the interferometer as producing atoms with new properties, beaded a toms, and their radiative properties.
