Abstract
Criteria for good library instruction practices were applied to Web-based t utorials selected by the ALG Library instruction Round Table. Face-to-face instruction and the online environment do not always lend themselves to exa ct parallels, yet in some respects the traditional criteria can guide libra rians in developing good online instruction.
