Sociological and cultural aspects in postacute neuropsychological rehabilitation

Various Forms of postacute brain injury rehabilitation programs exist. Comp rehensive dap treatment programs are the most holistic, being neuropsycholo gical in orientation. The importance of developing a trusting relationship and the use of inventive techniques in the individualization of treatment w ithin a holistic rehabilitation program will be described via a case presen tation, stressing the sociocultural aspects of the individual as central to treatment.
