Abstract
The results of cyclic moisture environment corrugated container creep experiments are presented The three containers used in this study cont ained the same corrugating medium but different linerboards. The defor mation behaviour of the containers was studied to arrive at a more mec hanistic understanding of how they deform with time under a constant t op-to-bottom load. This understanding was used to derive a simple, phy sically based relationship between container lifetime and the rate of creep deformation. This relationship was used to describe other corrug ated container creep data found in the literature.
