High spin states of Cs-122 are reinvestigated through the Sn-116(B-10, 4n)C
s-122 reaction at the beam energy of 54 MeV. Two new levels are added to th
e lower side of the most strongly populated band and the previously propose
d 488 keV linking transition between the two observed bands is replaced by
the 95 keV linking transition. As a result of these new observations, it be
comes reasonable to assign the most strongly populated band in Cs-122 as th
e pi h(11/2) x nu h(11/2) yrast band.
