Abstract
The process of generating artistic logistic maps which form various ki nds of colorful graphs using addition, subtraction, multiplication and division is described. These simple arithmetic operations help genera te many complicated 'landscapes'. The process suggests that simplicity can create complexity; there are wonderful worlds concealed behind th e four fundamental operations of arithmetic when combined with the log istic equation.
