Only in three percent of all cases the small bowel is the origin of gastroi
ntestinal bleeding. Due to its length and motility a complete endoscopical
investigation is not possible. Nevertheless when searching for the source o
f intestinal bleeding, up to 30 percent pathological findings can be detect
ed and treated by push-type enteroscopy. This is a case report of a very ra
re jejunal carcinoma in a 43-year-old woman with bleeding anemia, where the
previous endoscopic and radiologic diagnostic had not been successful.
