Delay Generators for time of flight experiments

Accurate delay generators used in a new pulsed electron and laser atom and molecular excitation experiment are described. The optically isolated delay units use both analogue delay generators for less critical timing applicat ions and digital delay generators for accurate timing requirements. Details of both types of generator are presented. A web site address for access to the printed circuit board layouts for these units is also given.
