Abstract
Forty-one specimens representing fifteen species of Phyllachora were collec
ted in Argentina. Seven species, P. chusqueae, P. luteo-maculata, P. oxyspo
ra, P. punctum, P spartinae, P. sylvatica and P. vulgata are newly reported
for Argentina and twenty-one species of grasses are new hosts for the fung
us. The first collections from Patagonia are reported.
