Abstract
Accurate X-ray diffraction measurements were carried out in a series of pow dered mixed compounds (BA)(1-x)(DBA)(x). The behaviour of the lattice param eters a, b, c and beta as a function of x were analyzed. The behaviour of t he lattice parameters as a function of temperature provided evidence for di fferent phase transitions in BA and DBA92 and pointed out the existence of a strong anisotropy in these systems.
