Research for phototoxic fungicides

There are presented studies on the synthesis of aryl hydrazones of omega-ph enylsulfonyl-acetophenone in reaction of phenacyl-phenyl sulphone with diaz onium compounds carried out at alkaline medium. Elemental analysis UV and I R spectroscopy confirmed the structure of synthesized compounds. Calculatio ns proved the occurrence of the hydrogen bond between oxygen of sulfonyl gr oup and hydrogen of hydrazone group. Some of synthesized compounds show pho todynamic action.
