Abstract
Two surveys conducted in a population of Togolese children provide evidence of the existence of allergic respiratory disease. Triggering factors, spec ific to tropical African regions, are added to the factors classically obse rved in all climates. It would be interesting to extend allergological surv eys and especially skin tests, particularly to food products not included i n the series of allergens used in Europe.
