Abstract
The paper presents the synthesis of some new heterocyclic oxygen-based comp ounds from aliphatic and aromatic ortho-hydroxyketones obtained by Fries tr ansposition of the corresponding phenolic esters. Biological activity tests of the synthetized compounds have been performed on Fundulea 29 wheat (Tri ticum aestivum L) specimens.
