Abstract
Polydimethylsiloxane bearing various final groups: chloropropyl, hydroxypro pyl, chloromethyl, trimethylsiloxy, hydrogen, hydroxy were obtained by equi libration of D-4 with the corresponding disiloxanes via cation exchanger ca talysis. Prescribed molecular weights were obtained in all these cases, exc epting the last one. It was established that the disloxanes reactivity decr eases with the increase of the silicon :substituents electronegativity.
