Abstract
The difference between wheat leaf rust populations from Vitebsk and Mo gilyov regions in the frequency of occurrence of virulence genes p1, p 2a and p24 was shown. Gene Lr2a was effective only in Vitebsk region. Genes Lr1, Lr9 and Lr19 could provide the highest resistance to Beloru ssian population of the pathogen.
