Abstract
An analysis is made of the problem of waveguides coupled via small aperture s. A method of matching the asymptotic expansions of solutions is used to f ind the asymptotic form of the eigenvalue which tends to the lower limit of the continuous spectrum for a small parameter, i.e., the aperture diameter .
