Abstract
Single crystals of Tl2PdCl4 can be obtained by hydrothermal synthesis [1, 2 ]. They show tetragonal symmetry with space group P4/mmm (No. 123). The lat tice parameters are a = 7.163(1) Angstrom and c = 4.282 (1) Angstrom. The a tomic arrangement of Tl2PdCl4 is explored by X-ray crystal structure analys is. Tl2PdCl4 is isotypic with K2PtCl4.
