Abstract
Three patients with osteoporosis secondary to systemic mastocytosis ar e described. With the exception of the typical rash of urticaria pigme ntosa, spinal pain caused by osteoporosis was the most prominent sympt om. Intermittent single i.v. infusions of pamidronate have controlled pain and improved lumbar spine bone density.
