Abstract
The known and potential adverse pathological effects of 3,4-methylened ioxymethylamphetamine (MDMA, Ecstasy), a ring-substituted amphetamine, are presented with emphasis on the effects on the serotoninergic path ways of the central nervous system. (C) 1997 by John Wiley & Sons, Ltd .
