Effects of biasing on the reconstruction of the large-scale matter structur
e from the distribution of galaxies are studied on the assumption of the lo
cal bias mechanism. We derive a simple analytic formula predicting the accu
racy of each reconstructed Fourier mode. It is shown that in future redshif
t surveys such as the Sloan Digital Sky Survey, the noise from the local bi
as could be comparable with (or even greater than) the shot noise due to th
e discreteness of observed galaxies.
