Abstract
An inflammatory cardiomyopathy occurs in humans with chronic Trypanoso ma cruzi infection (Chagas' disease). This study finds that T. cruzi i nfection is not associated with the production of cardiac-specific aut oantibodies in humans with cardiac manifestations.
