A novel bandpass filter using a parallel array of the high-temperature supe
rconductor coplanar lines on an LaAlO3 substrate is developed. The simulati
on procedure based on quasi-TEM analysis is briefly discussed. A coplanar w
aveguide three-pole Chebyshev bandpass filter with 14% equal-ripple bandwid
th at 1.775GHz and 0.6dB insertion loss at T= 78K was designed, fabricated,
and measured. Good agreement between measured and simulated data was obser
ved.
