Abstract
Sarcomas arising in the gynecologic pelvic organs encompass different disea ses with very different prognoses. This article attempts to define the diff erent pathologies that arise from tissues of different histologic origin (m esodermal, stromal, and epithelial), and reviews the actual therapeutic kno wledge based on the intrinsic prognosis of the sarcoma.
