Abstract
A fixed-wavelength neutron diffractometer on an additional beam of the IRT reactor at the Atomic Center of the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute is described. The instrument consists of a monochromator, which is placed dir ectly in the reactor damper, a channel for extracting a beam of monochromat ic thermal neutrons, and goniometric devices for implementing various neutr on-optical arrangements. The characteristics of the instrument make it poss ible to use perfect crystals.
