Abstract
Stoichiometric NiAl crystals have been prepared by a modified Bridgman meth od. Chemical analysis methods have been elaborated for accurate composition analyses with a total error of 0.1 at. % Ni. The NiAl samples exhibit high room-temperature ductility in the as-grown state. (C) 1999 Elsevier Scienc e Ltd. All rights reserved.
