Liquid-liquid equilibria of the ternary systems dodecane + butylbenzene + s
ulfolane, dodecane + 1,4-diisopropylbenzene + sulfolane, and dodecane + oct
ylbenzene + sulfolane have been determined at the temperatures of 323.15 K,
348.15 K, and 373.15 K. The tie line data were correlated with the well-kn
own NRTL and UNIQUAC models. The experimental data were filled in the UNIQU
AC equation better than in the NRTL equation; the average root-mean-square
deviations phase composition error was 0.3215 for UNIQUAC compared to 0.452
0 for NRTL.
