Abstract
Mono- and di-ammonium benzylidenepropanedioates are synthesised, the molecu lar structure of a mono-ammonium salt confirmed by X-ray diffraction, and t he C-13 NMR spectra of the salts and the related benzylidenepropanediamides assigned.
