Abstract
The transient photoconductivity (TP) technique for the determination of fre e ion yields in bimolecular photoinduced electron transfer reactions is cri tically discussed. Variation of experimental parameters such as the number of charge carriers, the applied electric field, the electrode spacing, and the viscosity of the solvent confirm the theoretical predictions.
