Abstract
Over the past decade, the role of immunoscintigraphy using radiolabell ed monoclonal antibodies has been steadily growing in clinical oncolog y, and in particular, in radioimmunotherapy and radioimmunoguided surg ery for the treatment of primary, recurrent, and metastatic colorectal , ovarian, gastric, and prostate cancer. Herein, the authors review th e requirements for successful tumour radioimmunodetection and related procedures.
