Abstract
Using the small acceleration approximation we derive a relativistic scalar- vector force from a modified Zimanyi-Moszkowski Lagrangian based on sigma, omega and rho meson exchanges. The momentum dependence of the force is fixe d automatically by the theory. We present an application of such a force in a QMD calculation at intermediate energies comparing the results with the experimental ones published recently by the FOPI collaboration. For most of the quantities (number of intermediate mass fragments, ERAT, integrated si de how central flow, charge distributions, etc.) we find agreement with the experimental results.
