Abstract
Pyostomatitis vegetans, a rare pustular disorder of the oral mucosa, is a h ighly specific marker for inflammatory bower disease and may be difficult t o treat. A case of pyostomatitis vegetans in a patient with long-standing a symptomatic ulcerative colitis is presented. Complete remission was achieve d with topical steroids; no systemic treatment was required.
