Abstract
A mixed Chebyshev pseudospectral-finite element method is developed for sol ving the three-dimensional evolutionary Navier-Stokes equation. The general ized stability and the convergence of the scheme are proved strictly. The n umerical results presented show the advantages of this mixed method.
