Ta. Chanysheva et al., ANALYSIS OF HIGH-PURITY SELENIUM WITH CONCENTRATION OF IMPURITIES BY MATRIX DISTILLATION, Journal of analytical chemistry, 52(4), 1997, pp. 368-372
Two methods to concentrate impurities in selenium by matrix distillati
on (distillation in a flow of purified air and in a vacuum at 0.05-0.0
8 mm Hg) are proposed and compared to each other. The advantages of va
cuum distillation are demonstrated. An atomic-absorption procedure has
been developed to analyze high-purity selenium with concentration of
impurities by vacuum matrix distillation. The procedure provides the d
etermination of Ag, Al, Au, Ba, Be, Bi, Ca, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Ga, Hf
, In, Ir, La, Mg, Mn, Mo, Nh, Ni, Pb, Pd, Pt, Sc, Si, Sn, Ta, Ti, V, W
, and Zn in selenium with detection limits of 2 x 10(-8)-2 x 10(-5) %.
The repeatability of the results of analysis is characterized by RSD<
25%.
