Abstract
The alkane pattern of leaf waxes from Lupinus species, was determined by ga s-liquid chromatography. Ten alkanes were investigated. Nonacosane and hent riacontane were the major components in all species studied. The chemosyste matic significance of leaf alkanes in lupins is discussed. (C) 1999 Elsevie r Science Ltd.
