Abstract
Wild-type and starchless Arabidopsis thaliana mutant seedlings (TC7) w ere grown and fixed in the microgravity environment of a U.S. Space Sh uttle spaceflight. Computer image analysis of longitudinal sections fr om columella cells suggest a different plastid positioning mechanism f or mutant and wild-type in the absence of gravity.
